Unboxing Guidelines
To safeguard both buyers and sellers from potential disputes, we require an unboxing video if a refund request is made. This video confirms that the item arrived in the condition stated in the listing. You only need to submit an unboxing video if you are opening a dispute.
Unboxing Rules & Steps: To protect your purchase, follow these guidelines:
- Begin filming before the package is opened, showing the box completely sealed, with all labels and seals intact.
- State the date and time in the video or provide a timestamp of when it was recorded.
- Keep the entire box in view at all times.
- Show all sides of the box, including labels, addresses, and seals, and lift it to display both the top and bottom.
- Focus on the tape and ensure it is clearly visible.
- While unboxing, unwrap all contents on camera, and show the inside of the box.
- The video must be continuous, with no edits or cuts, and must include audio.
- If the item is packed in a hard case, such as a pelican case, show the case being opened.
- Thoroughly inspect the item for any undisclosed damage or flaws during the unboxing video.
- Items found to be damaged after the unboxing process may not be eligible for a refund.
FAQs:
- Do I need to send an unboxing video for every purchase? No. You only need to send an unboxing video if a dispute arises.
- Where should I send the unboxing video? Email the video, along with any relevant photos or documents, to autonomousglass@gmail.com with the item’s listing title in the subject. If the file is too large, you can upload it to Google Drive and share access with autonomousglass@gmail.com.
- What if my unboxing video doesn’t meet the guidelines? If the video doesn’t provide clear evidence of the item’s condition upon arrival, you may not qualify for a refund. It’s crucial to follow these steps to protect your purchase.
- Where should I set up my camera? We recommend having someone record the unboxing process for you to ensure the whole box and its contents are clearly visible. If that’s not possible, prop up the camera to record yourself and avoid holding it, as this could result in poor video quality.
- What if I forget to record an unboxing video? If the item arrives safely, no unboxing video is needed. However, if the item is damaged or not as described and no unboxing video is provided, Autonomous Glassworks may not be able to offer a refund.
